Voluntary teachers, Doctors, Nurses, Caregivers and profession (in any part of this world)
These volunteers do hands-on work with the students of Refugees In-Need in Ghana. They work with RIN directors in coordinating all the after-school programmes and are teaching their own class or teaching a class together with a teacher. Some kind of pedagogical training is not necessary but it will help for sure. Volunteers are encouraged to stay for a minimum of two months so as to leave a more positive and lasting impression on the children (and because the adjustment period to understand the country and the culture take about one month)
Financial Assistance for airfare, housing and meals are possible by applying for a Volunteer or Seed Grant through our partner organization in USA Refugees In-Need. Individuals wishing
to come directly or through another partner organization (Refugees In-Need IN USA) will be welcomed, but Airfare, housing, and meals are at the individual’s cost.
Voluntary grant writers
These volunteers assist our organization by writing grant proposals on behalf of our organization. They will work alongside the directors of RIN and should have strong writing skills.
Our organization is relying on individual donations because most of our income is coming from these donations. Any individual wishing to organize and carry out a fundraiser for Refugees In-Need or having a great idea for raising funds is gladly welcomed to do so and any assistance needed from our organization will be given to the best of our ability.
